The Metro featuring the innovative Update date display in ice blue. The metallic dial finish changes depending on the light and reflects the complexity of urban architecture in glass and steel. The 40.5-millimeter automatic watch features the exclusive NOMOS ring date, which can be adjusted quickly and easily in both directions. This is made possible by the in-house automatic caliber DUW 6101 with its patented date mechanism. Characteristic features of the Metro case include the rounded lugs, the narrow bezel, and the sapphire crystal, which is domed in two different radii. The gray textile strap was custom woven in France. The dial is electroplated, white silver-plated, and finished in ice blue. Typography and hour markers in teal, white, and gray add subtle accents. The recessed seconds subdial with azurage finish and a light blue hand appears particularly understated. The exclusive NOMOS ring date keeps the entire month in view. Teal markings frame the current date, while the date ring itself is white. Every watch family at NOMOS has its own case shape. What they all have in common is their slim profile. Despite its automatic movement and complication, the stainless steel case of Metro neomatik 41 Update is only 9.1 mm in height.
