The denim itself is woven on vintage shuttle looms using yarn spun on a 1953 spinning machine, giving it a different texture and character right from the start. Compared to the standard 105, the XX version features a leather patch instead of paper, a four-button fly, pink ID selvedge, and clean copper rivets throughout. The fit stays familiar but is subtly adjusted, with a slightly roomier top block, a touch more rise, and a marginally wider leg from thigh to hem. Finished in a one-wash to remove shrinkage and soften the fabric, these are meant to be worn immediately while still aging beautifully over time.
