Japanese-born, Milan-based designer Kensaku Oshiro decided to “rethink modern elegance” to create the ottoman’s refined form, in partnership with the expert leather workers and upholsterers at Poltrona Frau. Subtly sartorial in its detailing, Leplì is available in leather or fabric. A leather band cinches its “waist” to create a courtly form that can serve as a seat, footrest, or side table.
