The pink gold introduces warmth into a numeral layout that was designed to read cool and evenly balanced. On the 126201 the tension between those two ideas becomes the whole character of the watch. Rolex has since discontinued the reference in every one of the configurations it was built in.The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel and sits beneath a domed bezel in Everose Gold. Applied Roman numerals stand across a plain white dial, with the date at three under a Cyclops lens. Baton hands cross the numerals, and the white surface carries no printed outer track around it.
