## Summary

Luxury 36mm yellow gold watch featuring a green malachite dial with diamond Roman numeral markers, a diamond-set bezel, and a matching gold president bracelet.

## Description

The Day-Date has reigned as Rolex's flagship statement piece since 1956, the first wristwatch to spell out the day in full and produced solely in precious metals, earning its enduring "President's Watch" sobriquet. Reference 128348RBR represents the gem-set 36mm execution in 18-karat yellow gold with a factory diamond bezel, the "RBR" suffix denoting the diamond setting. Its defining feature is the green malachite dial — a natural hardstone whose swirling, banded patterns form differently in every example, making each piece unique. The labor-intensive process of cutting a stone dial thin enough for a wristwatch without fracturing the brittle material places malachite among the rarest and most coveted dials in Rolex production. The 36mm case in 18-karat yellow gold carries a bezel set with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds, framing a green malachite dial appointed with diamond-set Roman numerals, day aperture at twelve, and date at three beneath the Cyclops magnifier. The in-house automatic Caliber 3255 — equipped with the Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers — delivers a 70-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch is completed by a solid yellow gold President bracelet with concealed folding Crownclasp. *This timepiece has a factory sticker on the caseback.
