It really does the job, too: compared with down, it's equally warm, lighter in weight, and holds its shape better in wet conditions. And, again, it's exactly as soft as you think it is. Each piece is made with a featherweight nylon shell and rubber-covered snap buttons, and packs into its own inside back pocket to form a compact zip pouch.
