Club ties are marked by a solid or striped background with an emblem woven on top. (Think crests, shields, flags, cricket bats — that kind of thing.) They once signaled membership in, you guessed it, a club or community. Nowadays, they're mostly symbolic, although this one would make a pretty perfect gift for a Berkeley grad or a general bear enthusiast. It’s hand-rolled in Italy in our forever-go-to 8cm width: not too skinny, not too fat, and designed to sit in perfect harmony with both the lapel of our jackets and the length of our shirt collars.
