Club ties are marked by a solid or striped background with an emblem woven on top. (Think crests, shields, flags, cricket bats — that kind of thing.) They once signaled membership in, you guessed it, a club or community. Nowadays, they're mostly symbolic, although this one would make a great gift for anyone who's really into the stock market.
