The smaller scale of this gingham means it acts like a non-pattern pattern... basically solid from far away and nuanced up close. An excellent four-season sport shirt. This one has a modified spread collar with lightweight, nonfused interlining for a soft, relaxed look. The cut is slim but never skinny, with a high armhole for mobility and a shirttail long enough to stay tucked in. (Sid likes it this way, but it's easy to shorten if you prefer.) It's made with single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, and thick, 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
