Studio D’Artisan’s SP-115S “Earth Denim” is a special release for their 45th anniversary, built from a 15oz selvedge denim that fuses heritage dyeing with sustainable innovation. The warp is dyed with natural indigo using the traditional skein-dyeing (kasezome) method, while the weft is made from undyed, naturally brown Foxfibre® Colorganic® cotton—a rare, organically grown cotton developed by Sally Fox. This is some of the most sought-after cotton in the world, and the first time we've seen one of our Japanese brands use it in jeans. The result is a textured denim with a dry hand and warm cast, featuring a subtle earth tone that deepens with wear. It’s finished with eco-minded details like corozo nut buttons, a recycled leather patch, and no metal rivets - just reinforced bar tacks throughout.
