These jeans are crafted from 18oz unsanforized selvedge denim, initially rope-dyed in indigo and subsequently hand-dyed using the ancient Amami Dorozome (mud-dyeing) method. This dual-dyeing process results in a rich, deep hue that approaches black, yet reveals subtle blue and brown undertones, offering a unique depth and character. Our favorite brown detail has to be the selvedge id. It also washes down the denim to make it feel less heavy but no less substantial. The regular straight silhouette provides a timeless fit, neither too slim nor too loose, making it versatile for various styles. Attention to detail is evident in features like the original copper rivets, a thick goat leather patch, and a button fly with custom Studio D’Artisan buttons.
