This Urwerk UR-100V UltraViolet is among the most expressive pieces the workshop has produced, a limited edition issued without a disclosed number and prized among collectors of independent horology. Its self-winding Caliber UR 12.02 governs the satellite wandering hours that define Urwerk's identity, three satellites orbiting a central carousel, each carrying an hour disc that sweeps a curved minute track before handing off to the next, with the rotor regulated by a Windfänger airscrew. The display also charts the distance the Earth travels along its equator and in its orbit around the sun, read across twenty-minute intervals. The titanium case measures 41mm in width, 49.7mm in height, and 14mm in thickness, sanded and shot-blasted, then coated in violet DLC for a matte finish that wears with real presence. The openworked display is rendered in deep purple, a shade chosen for sitting at the outermost edge of human vision, where the perceptible gives way to the unseen.
