## Summary

A minimalist outdoor side chair crafted from heat-treated Finnish pine, featuring a natural wood grain finish and a sturdy, clean-lined construction.

## Description

Sturdy outdoor furniture crafted entirely of pine is perhaps the last thing you might expect – yet Henrik Tjærby has achieved precisely that with Vaarnii’s 013 Osa Outdoor Side Chair (2022). Crafted from heat-treated Finnish pine with Tjærby's ingenious T-profile joinery and minimal components, it achieves remarkable strength and lightness while weathering beautifully, reflecting quiet architectural refinement. Vaarnii, founded in Finland, creates "brutal and sophisticated" pine furniture shaped by local craftsmanship and advanced manufacturing. The brand embraces wood's raw beauty – knots, wild grain, and a rich tone that deepens over time. Made in Finland.
