She wore it on her road trip from Annecy to Edinburgh. It came with her to grad school in London and it stuck with her through each of her all-nighters. Her boyfriend tried to replace it with crystal and platinum but she’s vintage, not modern. Besides, she’s taking it with her next summer when she dives the Great Coral Reef and next winter to the Aspen slopes.  This Vintage silver collar was handcrafted in South Africa around 1960. Detailed leaves with silver bulbs decorate this unique chain link necklace. The hallmark for silver purity reads, ‘C.980’, for 98% silver (by contrast sterling silver is 92.5% silver). It weighs 62.7 grams and measures 16.5 inches in length.  This is a piece of culture, of well-traveled quality material. This is a piece that would look like perfection on your swan like neck and belongs as a statement piece in your jewelry box.  I offer layaway on most items purchased for full retail price.
