Red Stovall was a victim of the 2033 chemical attack in Portland, Oregon. Before the Disfiguring, Red was a barroom country singer, the kind of amateur  act who'd perform for $100 and a free meal. Left scarred and discouraged after 2033, Red retired from the music business and relocated to Mount Hood, Oregon. He opened a small, roadside gas station off of Highway 26 in partnership with a local woman, Hinata, an artisanal sushi chef hailing from Osaka, Japan.
