Bonavist' Harbour is based on a catchy folk tune, popular in Newfoundland. A shorter version, often sung by Newfoundlanders, is known as The Feller From Fortune. Both versions, are rollicking, and good humoured. The refrain, and verses are full of nonsense lyrics. Rhythmic and fun from beginning to end!
