Hodie Christus Natus Est ("Christ is Born Today ") was written for the vocal group Latvian Voices for their 2022 Christmas programme. The content is based on the Latin text of the Church's liturgical chorales. It uses a homophonic chordal texture, suitable for acoustic concert halls and churches.
