MARKed MUSIC was originally developed by Mark Dresser, Roger Reynolds, and computer musician Jaime Oliver. Its materials grew out of two earlier projects in which Dresser and Reynolds had collaborated: imagE/contrabass and imAge/contrabass. In the 18-minute MARKed MUSIC, these two short, complementary solo works were elaborated with improvisatory and real-time computer-mediated materials into a larger statement.
