This arrangement is based on the version from The Tango Project . It was originally written for three performers on a single 5-octave marimba. It was then expanded for a full ensemble to augment the arrangement, but can still be performed as a trio if desired. Instrumentation (3 or 9 players): three soloists (one 5-octave marimba), two additional marimbas (low A), bells, xylophone, and bass (string bass or bass marimba).
