Eugène Ysaÿe (1858-1931) was Belgian virtuoso violonist, composer, and conductor, referred to as "The King of the Violin." Published in 1901, the hauntingly beautiful "Rêve d'enfant" (Child's Dream) was written for violin and piano or violin and orchestra.
