Composed in just two weeks in May 1875, this five-movement suite is one of Antonín Dvorák's (1841-1904) most popular works. The piece combines cantabile style (first movement), a slow waltz (second movement), humorous high spirits (third movement), lyrical beauty (fourth movement) and exuberance (fifth movement). Movements: I. Moderato, II. Tempo di Valse, III. Scherzo: Vivace, IV. Larghetto, V. Finale: Allegro vivace. A count of 8-8-5-5-5 strings included in the set.
