This very early work by Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943), written in 1892 while he was 18-19 years old) consists of two titles: I. Prélude / Comodo (F major); II. Danse orientale / Andante cantabile (A minor). It was first performed on January 1, 1892, with Anatoly Brandukov playing the cello and the composer at the piano.
