In the 1940s, in a studio in Milan, Piero Fornasetti began covering everyday objects with a world of his own imagining: faces and keyholes, suns and butterflies, cities built from playing cards. Today his son Barnaba carries that world forward, and each piece is still made in the family's Milan atelier. A flurry of butterflies drifts across this tray, each one caught mid-flight.
