Putting the shell dial on the Oyster bracelet was never the expected choice, and very few 126203 examples were built that way. The three-piece links flatten the profile and reduce the gold down to a narrow line running down the middle. That leaves the mother-of-pearl and the set stones responsible for everything decorative about the watch itself. It is an odd combination on paper and a surprisingly coherent one once it is on the wrist.Stainless Steel forms the 36 mm case, and the domed bezel above it is cast in Yellow Gold. White mother-of-pearl fills the dial and diamonds in gold settings stand where the hour markers would sit. A Cyclops lens magnifies the date at three, and baton hands run over the shell beneath. The Oyster bracelet uses three-piece solid links with Yellow Gold centers, closing on a folding Oysterclasp with a comfort extension link.
