Studio D’Artisan’s SP-115S “Earth Denim” is a special release for their 45th anniversary, built from a 15oz selvedge denim that fuses heritage dyeing with sustainable innovation. The warp is dyed with natural indigo using the traditional skein-dyeing (kasezome) method, while the weft is made from undyed, naturally brown Foxfibre® Colorganic® cotton—a rare, organically grown cotton developed by Sally Fox. This is some of the most sought-after cotton in the world, and the first time we've seen one of our Japanese brands use it in jeans. The result is a textured denim with a dry hand and warm cast, featuring a subtle earth tone that deepens with wear. It’s finished with eco-minded details like corozo nut buttons, a recycled leather patch, and no metal rivets - just reinforced bar tacks throughout. They fit exactly as he would've expected a regular straight to fit. They were perfect in the waist with plenty of room in the thigh and leg. If you get the waist right, the rest should fall in line. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
